The Office for Vocational Education (UCFP) is a service office of the Department of Education, Culture and Environmental Protection (DECA) and implements the tasks of the vocational education policy of the Confederation and the cantons concerning basic vocational education. Furthermore, the office is the competent authority for questions regarding the choice of profession, school, and studies as well as the body that supports throughout the entire professional career.
For June 1, 2026, or by agreement, we are looking for a staff collaborator for management and project support
- Lead and collaborate on various projects as key points of development, legislation, and others
- Coordinate and manage the preparation of annual objectives, followed by controlling and reporting with the participation of management;
- Develop, prepare, and ensure the quality of decisions
- Ensure communication, such as responding to media inquiries, writing official greetings, etc.
- Prepare parliamentary interventions and consultations
- Advanced vocational training, specialized higher school, or equivalent education
- Good knowledge of the Swiss vocational education system
- Knowledge and experience in project management
- Understanding of political and economic relations and developments
- Ability to explain complex connections clearly to the target audience
- Flexibility, ability to work in a team, holistic thinking as well as a high degree of independent work, own initiative, and quality awareness
- Confident style in spoken and written German
- Knowledge of a second (and possibly a third) cantonal language is an advantage
