The Office for Youth and Career Counseling Canton Zurich, office of the districts Bülach, Dielsdorf operates a regional office for school social work. On behalf of municipalities, it is responsible depending on the service agreement for professional advice or the entire professional and also personnel management of school social workers. For these exciting activities, we are looking for immediately or by arrangement:

a Head of School Social Work (30%).

You work in the team of the regional office SSA West and report to the Head of Projects and Development.

You lead the school social workers professionally and, if necessary, personnel-wise, lead cross-municipal specialist groups to network the school social workers among themselves. You work with schools, school-related services, the kjz (Children and Youth Welfare Centers), and other specialist offices. In addition, you make an active contribution to the development and quality assurance of school social work and youth welfare in the region.

We are looking for a committed personality who can demonstrate a tertiary-level degree in social work or equivalent. You have completed counseling and leadership training and have corresponding practical experience. We expect solid professional experience in school social work as well as high competencies in the areas of prevention, crisis intervention, and child protection. Very good self-management and good communication skills are among your strengths.
