We have successfully expanded our presence in Europe over the past 8 years with locations in the DACH region in Basel (Switzerland), Böblingen, and Penzberg (Germany), and we are currently looking for a Project Manager Electrical (m/f/d) – Technical Building Equipment (TGA) for our office in Böblingen (Greater Stuttgart area).
As Project Manager Electrical, you take on the technical responsibility for the electrical discipline in complex pharmaceutical projects. You accompany the projects through all relevant phases – from the pre-planning/concept phase through the design planning/basic design and the execution planning including tenders/detail design to the execution phase/construction & commissioning and the handover to the client. In doing so, you coordinate internal and external interfaces, lead a small specialist team, and ensure that costs, deadlines, and quality are always balanced.
Job Description
- Electrical Discipline: Management and coordination of electrical trades (e.g., medium voltage systems, low voltage switchgear, generators, UPS, construction site facilities, lighting, blinds, lightning protection, equipotential bonding, sub-distributions, infrastructure, UKV, fire alarm technology, gas detection systems, evacuation and alarm systems, emergency lighting, smoke and heat extraction systems, fire control systems, access control, video surveillance, burglary and hold-up alarm technology).
- Project Handling: Independent handling of projects in all phases – concept, basic, detail as well as construction & commissioning.
- Acceptance: Organization and support of expert inspections and acceptance of electrical systems.
- Project Management: Control of costs, deadlines, and quality within the electrical sub-discipline.
- Submissions & Tenders: Preparation of tender documents (high and low voltage) and participation in awarding processes.
- Cost Management: Preparation of initial cost estimates, cost assessments, calculations, and quotations as well as budget control in the electrical department.
- Technical Documentation: Creation and maintenance of technical documents for building automation, telematics, and security systems.
- Interface Coordination: Close coordination with clients, architects, specialist planners, and contractors.

Qualifications
- Completed studies as an electrical engineer, electrical technician, electrician, or a comparable qualification.
- At least 5–10 years of professional experience in electrical planning in the DACH region.
- Experience in leading or coordinating subprojects in the field of electrical TGA.
- Entrepreneurial thinking, independent and structured working style.
- Confident appearance and convincing communication in dealing with clients, authorities, and partners.
- Good planning and organizational skills as well as technical imagination.
- Confident handling of common software; experience with MS Office, Messerli, Revit, or similar programs.
- German language skills at least C1, good English skills (B2), French skills are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe as part of projects.
