To complete its team, the Institute of Sport Sciences (ISSUL) of the University of Lausanne is advertising a position for a First Assistant in "Social Sciences: Sport, Health and Disability"
Job Information
Start date: February 1, 2026
Contract duration: 1 year, renewable 2 x 2 years, maximum 5 years
Work rate: 80%
Workplace: Synathlon (Lausanne-Dorigny)
Gross annual salary: CHF 83,160.-, increasing each year according to the scale
Your Activities
The position is under the responsibility of Prof. Sylvain Ferez. The holder is expected to develop work on the uses of physical and sports activities related to health and/or disability.
45% of the work rate will be dedicated to the research project.
29% of the work rate will be dedicated to teaching support
6% of the work rate will be devoted to shared research work
Your Profile
We wish to hire a person with the following profile:
- PhD in movement and sport sciences, social sciences or equivalent qualifications
- Mastery of French and good knowledge of English and German would be an asset
- Interest in teaching social sciences and adapted physical activities for health
- Interest in developing collective projects and network work (notably from the research laboratories of the SSP Faculty)
