Job Description

We are looking for a creative personality with a knack for good stories. As a Content & Social Media Manager, you bring Syngenta’s innovations to life on digital channels – authentically, understandably, and engagingly. You help us make the importance of crop protection tangible for consumers.

Content and Storytelling

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that contributes to Switzerland’s communication goals
• Translate complex topics from agriculture and science into understandable stories
• Write position papers, FAQs, and background documents on Switzerland-specific topics
• Develop authentic stories from employees and customers together with internal and external partners
• Create multimedia content such as short videos, illustrations, and photos in collaboration with our design team
• Develop exciting stories with brand ambassadors that resonate with the target audience

Social Media Management

• Take responsibility for the daily management of Syngenta Switzerland’s social media channels
• Create and implement editorial plans – aligned with corporate goals and current topics
• Measure performance and further develop the content strategy based on data
• Engage in dialogue with the community and build genuine relationships
• Manage sensitive topics and crisis situations confidently
• Consistently represent Syngenta’s brand voice across all platforms

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in social media management and content creation
• Excellent writing skills in German
• Portfolio with convincing storytelling and copywriting examples
• German as native language; business fluent English
• Confident use of social media analysis and reporting tools

• Know-how in paid social media
• Experience with content tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, etc.)
