Head of Quality and Environmental Management (m/f/d)
Your tasks include:
- Leading the department with currently 5 employees ·
- Responsible for all matters of quality and environmental management
- Planning, conducting, and follow-up of internal and external audits
- Analysis and optimization of processes regarding quality, efficiency, and compliance with standards
- Management of internal and external complaint management including root cause analysis (e.g., 8D, Ishikawa) and initiation of corrective actions
- Representation of the company towards customers, suppliers, and authorities in quality and environmental matters
- Maintenance of a seamless, efficient evaluation and documentation system
- Ongoing inspection of the technical condition of measuring instruments and control devices
- Training employees in quality and environmental topics
- Participation in budgeting, medium-term planning, strategy review, etc.
Our requirements are:
- Entrepreneurially minded personality with a pronounced hands-on mentality
- Higher technical education with further training in business administration and in the field of quality/environmental management
- Solid several years of professional experience in a similar position in the manufacturing industry
- Very good knowledge of relevant standards and norms ISO 9001 (QMS), ISO 14001 (EMS), and other relevant regulations
- Experience in auditing (internal/external) as well as dealing with certification bodies and authorities
- Confident handling of QM methods and tools
- Good IT skills, especially MS Office, ERP, CAQ, QM/EMS-specific software
- Entrepreneurially minded personality with structured, proactive working style and pronounced communication and moderation skills
- Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form, ideally experience in an international environment
