We are looking for a System Administrator / Operations Engineer to strengthen our IT team, where you will reliably manage and further develop our IT infrastructure. In this role, you are part of Endress+Hauser Digital Solutions – our dynamic and future-oriented product center driving the digital transformation of the process industry. From IIoT to Industry 4.0, our team in Reinach ensures stable and innovative IT systems that lay the foundation for user-friendly digital products and services.
What is this position about?
You will primarily administer Windows, Linux, and be proficient with MacOS environments, adapt IT processes, and actively drive IT security topics such as vulnerability management. You will contribute to the further development of the development infrastructure and bring strong organizational skills as well as solid experience in system administration and IT security.

What tasks will you take on?
You will
- Collaborate with system and application users to ensure process coordination and operational efficiency
- Make an active contribution to IT security initiatives, including vulnerability management and certification procedures
- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments to ensure stability and performance
- Work closely with our development teams to improve the development environment and underlying infrastructure
- Develop and implement our support processes specifically for MacBook users to ensure efficient and effective support
What do we expect from you?
You
- Have completed vocational training or a university degree in the IT field
- Bring at least 2-3 years of professional experience (after training/studies) in IT as an IT engineer, system administrator, or in a comparable role
- Have a solid understanding of IT security concepts and activities
- Have a good understanding of modern software development
- Possess good knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
- Have strong self-organization skills
- Have basic knowledge of MacOS environments, which is a real plus
- Work proactively, practically, and solution-oriented
- Have good German and English skills
