Business Analyst 80 - 100%The Office of Health of the Canton of Zurich ensures a high-quality and economically sustainable healthcare system in the Canton of Zurich. It guarantees seamless medical treatment and care and promotes the health of the Zurich population.
The team for State Contributions KVG & IV within the Department of Tariffs & Invoice Control checks the canton’s payment obligations as well as the material and formal correctness of invoices from Swiss hospitals for inpatient treatments. The case-related invoice control is supported by a digital solution. The advertised position acts as a bridge between financing and technical implementation.
We are looking for a Business Analyst, 80-100%, starting May 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Your tasks
You are responsible for maintaining and further developing the complex invoice verification software (including testing, master data maintenance, interface maintenance, incident management, and process documentation) as well as for developing standard and ad-hoc queries in SQL. As part of daily business, you review the invoices flagged by the software. Furthermore, you represent the Health Directorate in an inter-cantonal working group. With regard to the implementation of the uniform financing of outpatient and inpatient services (EFAS), you create the requirements for the invoice verification software considering the new interfaces.
Your profile
You have a completed university degree. Your IT affinity and good SQL skills distinguish you. Professional experience in IT projects and data management is an advantage, as well as knowledge of the healthcare sector. You approach challenges in a structured manner and apply high standards in documenting existing and new processes. As an open-minded and team-oriented personality, you ensure good information flow. Your hands-on mentality and quick comprehension complete your profile.
