Job Description
We are looking for an experienced welder in heavy metal construction to join our production workshop.
The main tasks will be:
Prepare your workstation and work environment
Identify materials and define suitable welding processes
Perform MAG welds (processes 136 and 138) in accordance with current instructions and standards
Use the arc-air gouging process for any touch-ups
Ensure rigorous visual inspection of welds and report any non-conformities
Participate in handling and moving parts
Work closely with assembly, quality control, and painting teams to ensure compliance and smooth operations
Qualifications
Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as metal constructor or equivalent training
Proven experience in welding heavy metal structures
Valid welding certifications 136 (MAG flux-cored wire) and 138 (MAG solid wire)
Mastery of arc-air gouging process
Bridge crane operator license required
Ability to read technical plans
Rigorous, reliable, and autonomous person with good team spirit
