Head of Special Education Department (20%)
You can expect a versatile, interesting, and varied activity in all areas of the school. We are looking for someone immediately or by arrangement
You lead the special education department and coordinate special education services in collaboration with our school special educators and therapy teachers at our school. In addition, you are the contact person for the school psychological service and special schools.
In the area of organization and school development, you work closely with the principal's office and collaborate with the school leadership conference (SLK) in all important areas. The SLK consists of the principal's office, secretariat, and the three school leaders. It is supplemented as needed by representatives from ICT, special education, or infrastructure.
Your main areas of responsibility are the professional and organizational management of the special education department according to the legislation of the canton, the community, and the school regulations, as well as ensuring proper school operations in the assigned school unit. You have the opportunity to help shape and develop this newly created function.
We expect an empathetic personality with the ability to think in networks and present clearly, as well as high social competence and enthusiasm for educational topics. You possess a willingness to innovate, reflective ability, negotiation skills, and the ability to professionally support employees. A respectful and appreciative manner is important to you.
