The Fertility Medicine and Gynecological Endocrinology Unit of the Woman-Mother-Child Department is looking for a nurse on a permanent contract, between 80% and 90%.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Woman-Mother-Child Department (DFME) brings together the Gynecology, Obstetrics, Neonatology, Pediatrics, and Child and Adolescent Surgery Services. More than 1,500 professionals work within this department. We care for women throughout their lives on gynecological, obstetrical, and psychosocial levels, as well as children from birth to adolescence.
The Fertility Medicine and Gynecological Endocrinology Unit of the DFME offers comprehensive care (medical, surgical, or psychological) to couples facing fertility problems. It also provides specialized consultations for women experiencing hormonal disorders from puberty to menopause. It is involved in teaching and research.
Mission
- You join a multidisciplinary team and participate in patient care, for follow-up related to endometriosis, chronic diseases, and reproductive health
- You provide therapeutic education during the specialized outpatient consultation for endometriosis, offer psychological support, and assist patients with specific procedures related to this care
- You ensure proper coordination of care and regular follow-up
- You perform specific technical care
- You participate in material management.
Profile
- You have a HES nursing diploma (or an equivalent recognized title), as well as Red Cross recognition for personnel qualified abroad
- You have several years of professional experience, and experience in gynecology-obstetrics would be an asset
- You are autonomous and demonstrate good listening skills
- You show excellent organizational, adaptability, and stress management skills
- You enjoy working in an interdisciplinary environment focused on patient needs.
