The Küsnacht school is a progressive and quality-oriented public school. It includes four primary school units and a secondary school. It is also the sponsor of the Tempus School, the public vocational preparation year of the Meilen district.
For active participation in the vocational preparation year of the Tempus School we are looking for a class teacher starting August 1, 2026
Class Teacher for a Vocational Practical Class 60% - 80%
Your tasks
- Teaching the subjects BABU (Vocational Preparatory General Education) and COBE (Coaching and Counseling)
- Taking on the class teacher function with pedagogical and organizational responsibility
- Supporting learners in the career choice and career orientation process
- Teaching school subjects in level groups (e.g., German, Mathematics, French or English)
- Individual promotion and support of young people on their way into the professional world
What you bring with you
- You have training as a secondary school teacher or basic education EFZ with higher vocational training
- Practical experience and experience in company training with vocational pedagogical training or an equivalent qualification
- The young people and their personal as well as professional development are at the center for you
- Experience in apprenticeship search and application process
- Open, tolerant and appreciative personality
- At the same time demanding, consistent and reliable in pedagogical work
- Ability to teach school subjects in a modern, practice-oriented and inspiring way
- Enjoyment of teamwork and active participation in school and teaching development
