Your mission:

• Lead and organize the service autonomously and proactively, taking into account the department's values and the HFR Charter
• Collaborate in the development, management of the department, and organization of the HFR
• Analyze the activities of your service, define objectives, and report on the work
• Represent the interests of the service within the institution
• Ensure communication within the service both upwards and downwards
• Organize continuing and postgraduate training for the staff
• Ensure the quality of care services
• Assume your role as a nurse within the service

Your profile:

• Bachelor of Science HES-SO in nursing or an equivalent title recognized by the Swiss Red Cross
• Proven experience in a rehabilitation and/or geriatrics service (minimum 3 years)
• Diploma in proximity management or equivalent training (or willingness to train)
• Fluency in German or French with excellent knowledge of the partner language
• Sense of priorities and ability to manage the unexpected
• Relational skills, communication and negotiation abilities
• Proactive, dynamic and flexible attitude
• High stress management capacity

Tasks

• You contribute to the further development and management of the department as well as the general organization of the HFR.
• You analyze the activity of your department, set goals, and report on implementation.
• You represent the interests of the department within the hospital.
• You ensure communication within the department both upwards and downwards.
• You organize postgraduate and other continuing education for the staff.
• You ensure high-quality nursing care.
• You fulfill your role as a nursing professional in the department.

Profile

• Bachelor of Science FH in nursing or equivalent degree recognized by the SRK
• Proven experience in a rehabilitation and/or geriatrics department (at least 3 years)
• Basic management training or equivalent education (or willingness to complete the corresponding training)
• German or French with excellent knowledge of the other language
• Ability to prioritize and handle unforeseen situations
• Social skills, communication and negotiation skills
• Proactive and dynamic attitude, flexibility
• High resilience
