The General Secretariat is responsible for governance issues. It also includes legal advice, regulatory affairs, stakeholder communication, public affairs, risk and insurance management, internal audit, and management of holdings.
Mission:
- You assess the Group's opportunities and risks, define the risk management policy, and ensure its implementation, monitoring, and reporting to Management and the Boards of Directors.
- You lead energy risk management (electricity, gas, heat), approve pricing methods and hedging plans, supervise the Middle Office, and regularly present risk exposure reports.
- You define and negotiate the Group's insurance coverages, manage relationships with brokers and insurers, monitor claims, and lead the Insurance Committee.
- You develop annual internal audit programs, conduct or have audits conducted, analyze key processes, evaluate the internal control system, and advise management on continuous improvement.
- You analyze the Group's holdings, propose strategic directions, prepare reports for the Board of Directors, and manage the Group's representation in governance bodies.
- You act as an internal auditor for all Group companies. In this capacity, you independently analyze organizational processes and issue value-adding recommendations, with a focus on economy and efficiency, as well as compliance with established rules.
Profile:
- You hold a higher education degree in economics or law, complemented by a postgraduate degree in risk management or internal/external audit.
- You bring 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role or in an audit firm, ideally with initial team management experience.
- You master risk management and audit standards and best practices, as well as the economic and regulatory issues related to the energy sectors.
- You are comfortable with office tools and have knowledge of SAP and D365, with excellent writing skills.
- You have excellent command of the French language, with good knowledge of German and English.
- You demonstrate rigor, critical thinking, analytical and synthesis skills, combine charisma and persuasion ability, work autonomously and organized, and guarantee absolute discretion on sensitive information.
