School Herzogenbuchsee – Kindergarten and Primary School in the heart of Oberaargau: Centrally located on the main traffic axis between Bern and Olten, School Herzogenbuchsee offers children from the municipalities of Herzogenbuchsee and Niederönz comprehensive education from kindergarten to 6th grade. Currently, around 730 students are accompanied by a dedicated and versatile team of teachers at five school and five kindergarten locations. In addition to regular classes, the school also coordinates special education in speech therapy and psychomotor skills for the surrounding schools in the region.

Tasks
As a class teacher, you will take over a 5th/6th grade class at our Mittelholz school location. A total of 12 classes are taught in Cycle 2 at this location, including five parallel classes at the same level. You can expect a committed team where collaboration, exchange, and mutual support are highly valued.
Teaching days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday morning, and Thursday morning and afternoon.
As a class teacher, you bear the pedagogical and organizational responsibility for your class. You design varied, supportive, and effective lessons and accompany the students in their academic and personal development.
Requirements
- You have training as a Cycle 2 teacher or are in training for it
- You enjoy working in a team and communicate on equal footing with teachers and parents
