Quality Engineer - George Fischer (M) SDN BHD

Your tasks

• Responsible for carrying out the Company’s objectives relating to the customer quality specifications
• Responsible for checking incoming and outgoing product conditions and quality, and proper handling of materials (no ovality, scratches, dust on the pipe) and record on " Material Receving Inspection Report".
• Ensuring quality documentation are being implemented and documented in proper manner
• To guide & instruct the company on the responsibilities associated with the standard’s requirements working with the customer specifications.
• Manage, co-ordinate and report on the Internal and external NCR's.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regards to NCR's.
• Organise and create NCR reports, seeking root cause & Identify the issue (Manpower, Materials, Machines, Environment).
• Inspect & checks on weld quality, finish products dimensions & angles and record on QA Fabrication Final inspection checklist.
• Communicate immediately any rejections and take correction actions.
• Weekly update on quality issues, NCRs and corrective actions.
• Actively seeking for improvements in process flow.
• To ensure the finshed product documents / drawings are attached during delivery.
• To check and ensure the drawings and all reports are being filed correctly upon final finished product.
• To check the finished product are well packing before delivery.

Your profile

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Preferred 1-3 years of working in a fast-paced project execution environment.
• At least 2 years of quality control experience is a must.
• Ability to work independently and across diverse cultures, able to communicate in multinational work environment.
• Strong time management skills and able to work effectively under tight timelines.
• Organized and focused.
• Strong IT software competence, well versed with MS Project, Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel or similar softwares.
• Excellent communication skills with strong verbal and written English language capabilities.
• Site support and customer facing is expected as per project requirement.
• Must have Good Document Practice (GDP) skills.
