Due to the numerous events in the house, the restaurant is a lively and highly frequented establishment – versatile, dynamic, and in the middle of the action. Our banquet and event rooms are modernly equipped and offer space for around 2,000 guests. With over 2,500 events per year – from international music top acts to party labels and classical concerts to general meetings, theater performances, banquets, and seminars – the Volkshaus is one of the most important and well-known event venues in the city of Zurich.

For the Restaurant Volkshaus, we are looking for an Office Employee (m/f, 80%) to start immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks

• Cleaning of dishes, cutlery, kitchen utensils, and equipment (using industrial dishwasher and by hand)
• Support with kitchen cleaning (floor cleaning, disposal, work surfaces)
• Assistance with simple preparatory tasks (e.g., preparing vegetables, arranging cold platters)
• Compliance with hygiene guidelines according to HACCP
• Ensuring order and cleanliness in the entire kitchen and office area
• Stocking goods and assisting with delivery acceptance

Your profile

• Experience in the kitchen area or dishwashing kitchen is an advantage but not mandatory
• Good physical condition and resilience
• Clean, reliable, and efficient working style
• Hygiene awareness and ability to work in a team
• Good knowledge of German
• Flexibility regarding working hours (e.g., shifts in the morning, midday, or evening as needed)
