Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! The cantonal tax office, together with the municipal tax offices, collects taxes for the federal government, the canton, and the municipalities. We support private individuals and companies throughout the entire tax collection process. Around 800 qualified employees are committed to this at the location in Zurich Altstetten.

Our "Digital Services" department is the heartbeat for everything related to IT, specialized applications, operations, projects, support, IT security, interfaces, change and release management in the tax area. Over one million private individuals and companies entrust us with their tax data every year. They also rely on our online portals being (almost) always available.

Your tasks

• You are responsible for and design the IT architecture of the tax office's digital offering in close coordination with the enterprise architect.
• You help shape our architecture processes, develop innovative target architectures considering the TOGAF ADM cycle, and ensure compliance with defined standards and guidelines.
• In addition, you participate in projects and working groups, actively contribute your expertise, and convincingly represent architecture topics to internal and external partners.

Your profile

• You have a university degree in computer science, business, or a comparable field.
• You have solid experience as an IT architect and are familiar with digital transformation projects.
• A TOGAF certification complements your profile; knowledge of ITIL or HERMES is a plus.
• You are strong in stakeholder management, present convincingly at management level, and can win people over to your ideas.
• You understand how to transfer complex issues in a structured and systematic way into practical solutions.
• Fluent German skills complete your profile.
