The Department of Psychiatry of the CHUV is looking for a medical secretary at 80%, on a permanent contract, for the Therapeutic Day Center for Adolescents (CTJA) in Lausanne, starting May 1, 2026.

Context
The University Hospital of Vaud (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. In collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in care, research, and education.
The Therapeutic Day Center for Adolescents (CTJA) welcomes 18 young people aged 13 to 18 from the canton of Vaud presenting severe psychiatric disorders beginning in adolescence and hindering their developmental process, notably with school or training dropout.
The CTJA is a day hospital for child and adolescent psychiatry, combining specialized care and specialized educational services.
Mission
- You ensure the telephone and physical reception of patients, their relatives, and visitors
- You manage telephone calls and direct users
- You handle the administrative management of outpatients (admissions, data updates, service control)
- You guarantee the maintenance of medical records
- You proofread and correct various documents (reports, correspondence, discharge letters)
- You follow up on medical information requests and archive files
- You participate in administrative tasks related to the smooth running of the center (dashboards, mail management, etc.)
Profile
- You hold a commercial employee CFC, ideally complemented by a medical secretary diploma
- You have at least 2 years of experience in autonomous medical secretarial work
- You have perfect command of French, both spoken and written (a foreign language is an asset)
- You have excellent mastery of common IT tools (knowledge of institutional tools is an asset)
- You have a service-oriented mindset and appreciate working in a multidisciplinary team
- You demonstrate empathy, flexibility, and excellent organizational skills
- You ideally know the functioning of Vaud state structures and parapublic bodies related to the psychiatric field.
