Interpellation: "Use of the Burgunwiese"
Dear Mr. President of the Resident Council
For some time now, there has been discussion about the use of the Burgunwiese regarding possible future construction activities and visions. It is important to know and implement the needs of the population and businesses and not unsettle them with spontaneous construction plans.
To clarify the development of the Burgunwiese on the one hand and to avoid continuously financing further studies on the other, I have the following questions:
a) What annual revenue is generated from renting out the Burgunwiese by the Canton SH,
rental parking spaces, construction site storage area, parking meters, etc.? b) What costs does the municipality incur for maintenance, toilet cleaning, fountain water,
traffic regulation, etc.? c) Is tourist traffic directed via Schaffhauserstrasse to the Rhine Falls at the special request of the municipality?
d) Is the Burgunwiese only signposted as a parking lot when the Rhine Falls parking lots are full?
e) Why can the parking lot on the Burgunwiese not be partially filled with priority (axis from Schaffhausen-A4)? f) Are tourists picked up at the Burgunwiese by the "Rheinfallbähnli" (Burgunwiese stop) and taken directly to the Rhine Falls without stopping, so they cannot walk through the village?
g) Why is there no stop for the "Rheinfallbähnli" in the village (e.g., municipal building) so that tourists can also visit the Neuhausen shops?
h) Is a part of the concession fee of the "Rheinfallbähnli" paid to the municipality?
If not; why not?

j) Why is the centrally located playground at the Burgunwiese not being upgraded?
(e.g.,
sunshade, fountain, etc.) k) Is it correct that before new costs for planning expenses are incurred, the EWR must approve possible planning costs?
