About the job
The IT team of the city of Bülach is the central ICT contact point for over 800 employees. Together we actively shape business processes, support the specialist departments in their daily work, and drive the city's digitalization forward. The area of responsibility currently includes around 1,500 notebooks, two data centers, a versatile application landscape, and the associated network infrastructure. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed personality by arrangement as
Your tasks
- You ensure the operation of workplace systems - from mobile devices to peripherals, servers, network components, and communication tools as well as their software and interfaces
- You receive support requests, analyze malfunctions, and assist our employees with hardware, software, as well as network and communication problems
- You lead and are part of a small support team of three employees in a collegial and supportive role
- You advise our employees on the proper use of the available technical and application tools
- You coordinate the activities of suppliers, consultants, and support partners, keep an eye on the availability of our systems, and manage the inventory of our hardware, software, and network components
- If necessary, you participate in ICT projects and contribute your know-how
Your profile
- Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ (system technology or business informatics) or equivalent further education in ICT support
- Professional experience in the support environment (1st or 2nd level) as well as good knowledge of the Microsoft environment
- Initial leadership experience is an advantage
- Strong user and service orientation
- Outgoing, motivated personality with willingness to learn, initiative, and quick comprehension
- Team-oriented working style, high quality awareness, and good communication skills
