Who are we looking for?
Starting April 2026, we are looking for a specialist in human resources and organizational development who will take on a broad range of tasks.
The position is limited to 12 months as maternity cover.
In this role, you will design modern learning formats for leaders, support talent development initiatives, and bring the HR and organizational development perspective into projects of the cantonal administration. Together with your team, you contribute to the further development of the learning culture. Another focus is on the topic of AI: you develop foundations and services on how AI changes organization, leadership, collaboration, and learning.
You easily succeed in moderating workshops and events at all management levels. With your open manner, you actively approach people, quickly make contacts, and know how to interest and inspire others in modern learning and development offerings.
What we are looking for
You have a completed university degree (MSc) in work and organizational psychology or a comparable field and bring solid experience in various topics of human resources and organizational development. Thanks to your broad expertise, you can quickly switch between different tasks and quickly immerse yourself in new topics.
You think conceptually, work in a structured way, and have a solid theoretical foundation – ideally in systems theory, solution-oriented approaches, and modern learning architecture. You find it easy to grasp complex contexts and translate them into practical, effective solutions. This also includes a basic understanding of AI, digital transformation, and their impact on organization, leadership, and collaboration.
In addition, you bring project management experience (preferably Hermes) and are able to plan, control, and successfully implement development projects securely. You moderate confidently at different levels, enjoy working in a networked way, and maintain an appreciative, solution-oriented exchange with specialist departments and stakeholders.
You design learning and development processes with commitment, are open to feedback, and bring strong communication skills as well as a high degree of independence and responsibility.
What do we offer?
An exciting and varied job in an innovative team as well as many opportunities to contribute and expand your skills and experience.
In addition, the Canton of Zurich is a reliable employer in an interesting environment. Attractive employment conditions such as flexible working hours, lunch vouchers, further training, etc. are also included.
And all this at a central location in close proximity to the main train station.
