Culinary Professional at the Central Food Production Unit
We are looking for two culinary professionals at 80% - 100% to strengthen the pantry team of our central food production unit in Bussigny (CPA), starting November 1, 2025.
Context
The University Hospital of Vaud (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The central food production unit (CPA), located on the Bussigny site, brings together the cold production activities of the CHUV kitchens (semi-finished bakery, pastry, butchery, and pantry products.)
Mission
- You produce and distribute quality dishes according to professional rules and those specific to hospital cuisine
- You develop, respect, and enforce the jointly developed recipes
- You establish the list of product needs for your sector
- You apply and comply with the hygiene and safety directives in force within the institution
- You participate in the training of apprentices in the service
- You may be required to work on weekends and public holidays with variable hours (day or evening).
Profile
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a cook or an equivalent qualification
- You have at least two years of experience in the culinary field, as well as experience in a hospital and/or collective environment
- You are comfortable with production tasks and raw material management
- You ensure the application of self-control principles (ODAI) as well as hygiene standards (HACCP)
- You have a good knowledge of common office tools and the French language (spoken and written).
