Video Conference Technician (m/f/d) 80%-100%

As part of our video conference team, you independently manage hybrid and fully virtual video conferences. You provide users with smooth technical service both in the video conference rooms equipped for this purpose and in mobile event environments. Thanks to your experience as an event technician, you make the right preliminary clarifications, plan, and implement the conferences at a technically high level. For this, you also take appointments at off-peak times and offer temporal flexibility within the team.

Your competent customer support before, during, and after the event allows users to focus on the content aspects of their video conference. With your calm manner, you create a positive atmosphere that knows how to absorb nervousness and uncertainty on the part of users. Even under time pressure, you professionally ensure consistently high service quality.

Organizationally, you will take over the deployment coordination of internal team members and freelancers in the medium term. In addition to scheduling and handling tickets, you actively communicate with users, clarify their organizational and technical requirements, and prepare briefings for the team. As an organizational talent, you enjoy collaboration and communication.

You actively and innovatively participate in the further development of the video conference service and also take on smaller projects for this purpose. Furthermore, you are interested in other topics in the field of audio-video technology. Your involvement in planning, testing, implementation, training, and documentation of technical innovations keeps you up to date. For occasional support in audio-video support in our teaching rooms, you bring willingness and acquire the necessary technical skills.

• Several years of productive experience as an audio-video technician in the field of video conferences and events
• Solid knowledge and routine in event sound technology
• Knowledge of common audio and video signal technology, AVoverIP technologies are an advantage
• Strong analytical-technical thinking, even under time pressure, for systematic troubleshooting of technical problems
• Professional interaction with users, even in demanding event situations
• Clearly structured expression for reliable, complete, and forward-looking scheduling and order coordination
• High degree of independence and personal responsibility, pronounced customer and service orientation
• Communicative, proactive team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and benefiting from the experiences of colleagues
• Joy and motivation to stay technologically and experimentally at the forefront of development
• Good oral and written communication skills in German and English
