What to expect
- Identification, evaluation, and development of new procurement sources for the strategic advancement of our supplier base – focusing on supply security, cost-effectiveness, and innovation
- Complete integration of new partners along the entire value chain – from the initial contact through contract negotiations to system and process implementation
- Analyze & negotiate: Ongoing analysis of global procurement markets, identification and selection of potential partners together with Category Management, as well as conducting demanding negotiations to sustainably expand the supplier base
- Coordinate & network: Close collaboration with Operations / Logistics, IT, Category Management, and Legal, as well as being the central team for new suppliers throughout the entire onboarding process
- Optimize & digitize: Active participation in the introduction of new systems, tools, and processes to scale potentials and set standards in Vendor & Partner Management
What you bring
- Completed studies in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or a comparable field. Further training in negotiation, project, or process management is a plus
- Several years of experience in team leadership, ideally in strategic purchasing, vendor management, or sourcing, preferably with global market know-how. Confident handling of relevant IT systems (e.g., ERP, SRM) and analytical tools
- You think in networks, make well-founded decisions, and work solution-oriented – even in complex projects.
- High personal responsibility, intercultural sensitivity, negotiation skills, and the ability to confidently manage stakeholders
