Company Description
The Official Youth Foundation (FOJ) aims to promote the psychosocial development of children, adolescents, and young people in difficulty, in collaboration with parents and partner institutions. Bound by a service contract with the State of Geneva, the FOJ is committed to the protection and defense of the interests of the child.
To fulfill its mission, the institution manages 47 structures across the Canton of Geneva, has more than 500 places for minors and young adults, and also offers outpatient educational services at home. The FOJ is composed of 670 employees.
To successfully carry out its mission, the FOJ is looking for a certified educator for its Maison Gemelli structure, for a two-year contract, to strengthen and complete the educational team.
Job Description
Care, support, and assistance for two young people living in a foster home, in close collaboration with the educational team.
Support for two young people with ASD, with particular attention to their needs.
Close collaboration with placement services, the health network, and the family to ensure comprehensive and adapted follow-up.
Irregular working hours depending on the needs of the young people and the organization of the foster home.
Activity rate: 85%
Contract duration: as soon as possible until April 30, 2027
Contract type: Fixed-term contract
Grade: 13 or 15 according to the salary scale of the State of Geneva

Qualifications
- - Bachelor profile in social work - University of Applied Sciences in Social Work (HETS)
- Certified Social Educator profile - Higher School (ES)
- University Bachelor profile - FAPSE License with one year of full-time professional practice in boarding school or IGE
- Bachelor profile in nursing
- Foreign diplomas: SEFRI recognition or equivalent
- CAS PF is an asset
Significant prior experience working with young children
- Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and intervention tools (TEACH, PECS)
- Autonomy, team spirit, and initiative
- Good knowledge of the Geneva social network
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good writing skills in French
