For our geriatric psychiatric ward at the Burgdorf location, we are looking for a
Psychologist 80–100% starting from September 2025 or by agreement.
Your main tasks:
In your role, you will take over case management during the inpatient stay and collaboratively design the treatment processes with the interdisciplinary team. You will conduct intake interviews, offer psychotherapeutic individual sessions under supervision, and involve relatives in the therapeutic process as needed. Communication with external professionals – general practitioners or therapists – is also part of your responsibilities, as is participation in the psychiatric emergency service (on-call) of the hospital.
Your profile:
You demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, and systemic thinking. We place particular emphasis on clinical, interdisciplinary collaboration and a compassionate, respectful attitude towards older and cognitively impaired individuals. Ideally, you have started or completed a postgraduate training and have gained initial clinical-psychiatric experience.
