The Reformed Parish of Kilchberg in the canton of Zurich is a lively and open community with a growing number of young people and families.
For the term of office from July 2026 to June 2030 (election at the parish assembly in May 2026), we are looking for a new president of the Audit Committee (RPK).
Your tasks:
- Leading the five-member Audit Committee (existing, well-coordinated team)
- Financial policy and technical review of the budget and the annual accounts of the parish
- Preparation and conduct of meetings (usually 2 regular meetings per year, possibly additional meeting for preliminary review of the annual accounts, cash audit or for visitations)
- Participation in the two annual parish assemblies
Your profile:
- Member of the Reformed Church in the canton of Zurich
- Residence in the canton of Zurich
- Interest in public finances, politics and leading a committee
- Professional background in finance, accounting or auditing is an advantage but not mandatory
- Enjoyment of a manageable but responsible activity
We offer:
- Entry into an official activity with manageable effort
- Insight into public finances, politics and committee leadership
- Flat-rate compensation of CHF 1,200.– per year
- Additional meeting fees of around CHF 200.– annually
Time commitment:
Including preparation and follow-up of meetings as well as participation in the two parish assemblies, the annual time commitment is around 10 to 15 hours.
The position is particularly suitable for people seeking a first insight into official duties and who are interested in finances and the community.
