Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
We are looking for a microbiology expert (M/F/X) whose main objective will be to ensure the microbiological compliance of components and finished products by defining and validating robust control strategies adapted to regulatory requirements.
🔥Your missions
- Define the control strategy upon receipt of new raw materials
- Identify microbiological CMAs (Critical Material Attributes) and define specification limits
- Develop an adapted strategy for the development and validation of microbiological methods
- Write and update analytical test and microbiological sampling instructions
- Participate in risk assessments of new suppliers, analyze provided microbiological data and evaluate potential risks
- Conduct a microbiological risk assessment of raw materials
- Define the microbiological CQAs (Critical Quality Attributes) of the finished product
- Establish microbiological specification limits and justify their choice according to regulatory requirements
- Define an adapted strategy for the development and validation of microbiological methods intended for the quality control (QC) laboratory
- Determine an adapted sampling plan for batch release
- Write and update routine microbiological test instructions
- Evaluate manufacturing processes to identify critical steps and in-process control tests to be implemented
- Conduct a microbiological risk assessment of the finished product
🎯Your profile
- You have a higher degree in microbiology, biotechnology, pharmacy or an equivalent scientific field
- You have proven experience in microbiological analysis of raw materials and finished products, ideally in the pharmaceutical and/or medical device sectors
- You master the validation of microbiological methods and risk assessment
- You are proficient in English (written and spoken)
- You have good knowledge of laboratory tools and software (LIMS, Excel, etc.)
- You demonstrate rigor, analytical skills, are able to work in a team and communicate effectively
