The Kantonsschule Hohe Promenade is a long secondary school with classical and modern language profiles, an immersion course in German / English, as well as a strong STEM offering. At the beginning of the autumn semester 2026/27 or by arrangement, 50 to 75 percent positions as Secondary School Teacher mbA (with special duties) in the subject of Latin are to be filled at our school.

Your Tasks

• You teach the subject Latin at our long secondary school.
• You take on special tasks within the school framework (class teacher function, participation in commissions and school development projects, etc.).
• You are involved in the subject department and advocate for the promotion of the subject in all its facets.

Your Profile

• You have a completed university degree at the master’s level as well as a teaching diploma for grammar schools.
• You bring several years of teaching experience at a long secondary school and stand for demanding, contemporary, and dynamic teaching.
• You are an open-minded, team-oriented, and committed personality who values both subject education and interdisciplinary skills as well as personality development.
• You want to engage in a diverse and lively school culture.
