The 36th open-air spectacle by Circus Chnopf will soon take place!
We are looking for:
In addition to the artistic work on stage, the show team commits to actively participating in the living and working community. This also includes setting up and dismantling the stage, tasks in the gastronomy and advertising areas, as well as everyday household chores.
Newly, the production phase extends from casting through rehearsal phases to the premiere over a longer period and in a slightly modified process. Casting takes place each February one year before the intensive rehearsals, with a first rehearsal week in October of the same year, but overall no more rehearsal days are planned.
Application deadline: January 31, 2026
1st round: Online application by January 31, 2026
2nd round: Introduction weekend on February 20/21, 2026
3rd round: Workshop on February 22, 2026
Not all applicants automatically participate in the workshop. After the introduction weekend, a pre-selection will be made for the 3rd round.
Rehearsal blocks: October 2-9, 2026, January 18-20, 2027
Intensive rehearsals: from March 29, 2027
Tour: June - September 2027
If you are excited about this creation and the subsequent open-air tour, please apply with the completed questionnaire from our website, a short CV, a motivation letter, and a video in which we can see both your artistic expression and your technical skills. The video should be a maximum of 3 minutes long and unedited; it does not have to be a finished number, but can consist of individual elements and sequences filmed one after another.
