For our new branch in St. Gallen at Multergasse (opening in March 2026) we are looking for new team members as Sales Advisors Travel & Outdoor 80 - 100 % starting February 1, 2026 or by arrangement.

We look forward to offering our customers an even more unique shopping experience at the new location. For this new adventure, we are looking for around 15 new Transianers in the following areas:

Hard goods (sleeping bags / backpacks / tents)
Clothing
Technology (outdoor kitchen / GPS / ...)
Mountain sports
Bike
Shoes
Kids

Our extensive outdoor and travel range. Your home.
Advising our customers in St. Gallen on their outdoor adventures. Your thing.
Discussing, exchanging knowledge, and sharing know-how within the team. Gladly.
Being a valuable sparring partner in the team and shaping the assortment of the future together. Exciting!
Co-designing and maintaining the sales area. Part of it too.
Assisting with goods flow. Of course.

THIS IS YOU

Training in retail as a retail specialist EFZ would be ideal. Career changers are also welcome.
Product knowledge in one or more of the above areas or experience in application. You bring that.
An open ear for our customers in St. Gallen. Absolutely.
Flexible availability, including Saturdays. Yes!
Your environment describes you as reliable and enthusiastic. Definitely.
Motivation to help shape the new branch and work in a large team. Yes, gladly.
Experience working with IT tools (Microsoft Office and BC). You are used to it.

Transa Backpacking AG has been the competence center for high-quality travel and outdoor equipment for over 45 years. The motto «Get out. But right.» is lived by around 500 employees. We are organized in circles and use the patterns of Sociocracy 3.0 – this way employees are deployed according to their skills. In the branches in Zurich, Basel, Bern, Lausanne, Lucerne, St. Gallen, Vevey, and Winterthur, the two outlet branches, as well as the station store Yosemite in Zermatt, there are over 42,000 products from around 550 brands.
