The Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) is a globally renowned institute in the field of global health with a special focus on low- and middle-income countries. Associated with the University of Basel, Swiss TPH combines research, teaching, and services at local, national, and international levels. Around 1,000 people from 96 countries work at Swiss TPH in areas such as infectious diseases and non-communicable diseases, environment, society and health, as well as health systems and programs.
The "Administration" department is the backbone of Swiss TPH and supports the areas of research, teaching, and services with the units "Finances and Controlling", "Human Resources", "Informatics", and "Infrastructure". In total, around 60 people work in administration at Swiss TPH.
Controller (70-100%)
The finance department of the administrative department at Swiss TPH is looking for a committed employee in controlling to start immediately or by arrangement. In our small, dynamic controlling team, you contribute to ensuring the internal controlling processes are efficient and service-oriented for the entire institute. With your expertise and organizational talent, you proactively support the unit and department heads in financial planning. Your sound analyses and meaningful reports provide management with the decision-making basis to steer the institute confidently through a dynamic environment.
