For our social service at the center for psychiatry and psychotherapy, we are looking for you as of now or by arrangement
Tasks
- Consultation and support of patients in the areas of housing, work/daily structure, social issues, finances (especially social insurances) and administration as well as child and adult protection
- Support in finding follow-up solutions and discharge planning in close collaboration with the patients
- Accompaniment of patients
- Coordination of assistance in collaboration with institutions, authorities, legal representatives, and relatives
- Representation of social work expertise in the interprofessional treatment team of medical, psychological, and nursing professionals
- Participation in reports and case discussions
- Writing requests for child and adult protection measures
- Active participation and further development of social work in our clinic
Profile
- Completed studies in social work (FH)
- Ideally, professional experience in a social psychiatric context or a comparable environment
- Your strengths include a positive view of humanity, social competence, solution orientation, as well as a healthy dose of humor and pragmatism
- A competent appearance is a matter of course for you
- You are a team player with a high sense of responsibility and quality awareness and are used to setting priorities and working independently
- You place the dignity, self-determination, and social participation of people with a psychiatric illness at the center of your work, recognize the associated opportunities and limits, and can handle them professionally
