Our public works department provides valuable services for the infrastructure and the entire population of Wald. As a complement to our team, we are looking for a

• Accompanying and supporting funerals
• Work in the cemetery (maintenance, upkeep, repairs)
• Care of the cadaver room and logistical coordination
• Maintenance work on playgrounds, sports facilities, and parks
• Waste management for clean infrastructure
• Control of neophytes (combating invasive species)
• Mowing work on road edges, footpaths, sports fields, parks, and playgrounds
• Planting summer/winter flowers (park, cemetery)
• Participation in winter services (irregular deployments including weekends and nights)
• Maintenance of municipal inventory and properties
• Operation and maintenance of machines and vehicles
• Services for public festivals and events (including Sundays and holidays)
• Maintenance work on municipal roads and parks such as repairs, cleaning, signage
• Tasks in water maintenance and care of green spaces
• Maintenance work in other areas of the depot, hiking trails, nature conservation, utility lines

• Completed basic vocational training EFZ (specialist in operational maintenance, road/garden construction or comparable qualification)
• You hold a category B driving license and live in the municipality of Wald or nearby
• You enjoy working outdoors, are healthy-fit-robust and have good communication skills
• You are willing to perform on-call duty
