As an MPA (Medical Practice Assistant – federally recognized profession with responsibility for administration, assistance, and laboratory work) you work closely with doctors, nursing, and therapy and bring your knowledge and empathetic manner in dealing with our patients and residents.

Your Tasks
- You organize the daily practice routine: appointment scheduling, administration, correspondence, and electronic medical records
- Laboratory work: performing blood draws (venous/capillary), vaccinations, infusions (especially Ferinject), and (simple) laboratory tests (including internal and external quality controls)
- Documentation? You have it covered! You ensure complete and correct patient records including medical reports, findings, and discharge letters
- Assistance with medical procedures (e.g., injections, vaccinations, infusions, ear irrigations)
- Application of 24h ECGs and 24h blood pressure monitors
- Medical billing and invoice control (Tarmed, SwissDRG – billing systems in Swiss hospitals)
- Collaboration and communication with doctors, nursing, and interprofessional teams
- Proactive thinking explicitly desired: active participation in optimizing processes
Your Profile
- MPA out of passion – with completed training as MPA EFZ and experience in practice or hospital laboratory
- Completed vocational trainer course preferred with experience or willingness to acquire and apply it
- Experience with laboratory devices such as INR measurement, 24h ECG/24h BP
- Solid knowledge of medical terminology and MS Office
- Careful, structured working method and a high quality awareness
- Heart & empathy: You understand the needs of elderly people and their relatives
- Structured & organized: You work independently and like to contribute to the team
- Communicative & resilient: You convince with sensitivity and reliability
