Tasks
Our tinsmith workshop is responsible for all maintenance and repair work on structural components and plays an essential role in ensuring that our aircraft are in top condition for our passengers.
- Maintenance and repairs on aircraft structures, wings, and control surfaces of our aircraft fleet, including Airbus A220, A320, A330, A350, and Boeing 777
- Assessment of damage and execution of repairs using aircraft manuals, in collaboration with Engineering, Composite Shop, and NDT
- Manufacture and fabrication of new structural parts
- Minor painting work as well as repainting of components
- Documentation of all maintenance and repair work carried out according to EASA/FAA regulations
- Reading and interpreting technical regulations and instructions in English

Requirements
- Completed vocational training or several years of experience as an industrial bodywork or construction tinsmith as well as plant and apparatus builder
- Experience as a tinsmith in the aviation industry. The FOCA Cat. S license for sheet metal processing is an advantage
- Experience in painting
- Good IT skills in Windows applications and AMOS are an advantage
- Good German skills as well as solid knowledge of technical English
- Swiss driving license category B
- High flexibility and willingness to work early and late shifts (in exceptional cases also night shifts) as well as on-call duty, including weekends and holidays
- Independence, solution-oriented and innovative thinking and acting, as well as teamwork skills
