If you also want to make a difference in people’s lives, these are your tasks:

• Advice and support for patients and relatives in social, financial, and legal matters, both inpatient and outpatient
• Mediation and advice on accessing resources from health and accident insurance benefits, social insurances, or social assistance
• Close cooperation with the medical, nursing, and therapeutic treatment team, as well as external specialist agencies and authorities
• Coordinating and organizing tailored follow-up solutions domestically and abroad
• Case responsibility

Become part of the social counseling team, which supports our patients and their relatives with comprehensive advice on personal, financial, professional, or legal issues. We provide this service hospital- and foundation-wide for all departments, both inpatient and outpatient. Social counseling is part of the Clinic for Internal Medicine with A-level training status, which, with over 3,500 inpatient patients, more than 20,000 emergencies, and over 450 patients cared for annually in the interdisciplinary intensive care unit, is a central and important service center of the hospital.

This is how you convince us:

• You are currently studying Social Work (FH)
• Ideally, you have some experience in a hospital context or healthcare sector
• You have a networked and process-oriented way of thinking, as well as strong communication skills and empathy towards various stakeholders.
• You speak fluent German and have knowledge of English
• Your humorous and cheerful nature enriches our team
