For our headquarters in Niederwangen near Bern, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a successor for a long-standing employee (retirement) a clerk purchasing and import 60% (m/f/d)
Your main tasks
- You create orders to our suppliers using our ERP system. You monitor delivery dates and organize transports from the manufacturing plant to our central warehouse in Niederwangen near Bern or to our customers in Switzerland. You are in constant contact with our sales department and inform about the delivery status. You take care of the administrative processing of goods receipt, book the goods in the ERP system, and handle customs formalities.
Your assistance in the team is required
- You help situationally and as needed in the secretariat, e.g., operating the telephone switchboard, triaging emails from our central mailbox, or maintaining master data in our ERP system.
Your profile
- • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or equivalent training
- • You have very good knowledge of forwarding processes
- • You are well versed in all aspects of logistics
- • You have proven experience in handling purchasing processes
- • Good German and English skills (additional languages are a plus) are required
- • You are familiar with common Microsoft Office programs and have experience with ERP systems (we work with OpaccOne)
- • You have a confident feel for dealing with and targeted communication with our business partners, who are mostly based in Europe
