The Legal Service department is the central legal contact point of the Cantonal Police. It advises employees and managers on administrative and civil law issues, is responsible for police legislation and data protection, reviews contracts, and supports procurement. In addition, it represents the police before authorities and courts and ensures legal certainty, compliance, and good governance.
Your tasks
The following tasks await you in our Legal Service:
- Drafting decisions on file inspection
- Clarification of legal questions (from all areas of law)
- Drafting and adapting service orders, instructions, and other legally relevant documents
- Participation in projects and procurements as well as handling citizen complaints
- Telephone and written response to legal questions from employees
- Drafting and reviewing contracts
Your profile
- You have a master's degree and are willing to work 100% for nine months.
- You are flexible and resilient and work constructively in a team. You recognize problems and are able to develop simple and pragmatic solutions.
- A very good command of German is required; you also have good spoken French skills.
- You have an interest in police work or the police environment.
