Service Portfolio Manager
The Office of Information Technology (AFI) is the IT competence center of the Canton of Zurich. It provides comprehensive services in the area of central IT infrastructure and cantonal applications for the directorates, authorities, judiciary, and independent institutions. Tasked with implementing the new strategy for Information and Communication Technology (ICT), the Office of Information Technology supports the Canton of Zurich in entering the digital world.
To further develop our offerings, we are looking for a personality who keeps an overview, creates connections, and thinks along. You navigate confidently between technology and strategy, recognize patterns where others only see complexity – and bring structure to the whole.
Your tasks
- Establishment and responsibility for service management in the Office of Information Technology
- Management of the service portfolio and demand management process
- Assessment and prioritization of new customer needs and service requests
- Further development and maintenance of the service portfolio
- Participation in projects with service relevance – if necessary, also in a leadership role
- Close collaboration with service owners, specialists from architecture, and customer management
- Regular professional exchange with colleagues in the Office of Information Technology, with directorates, and external partners
Your profile
- Degree in computer science or comparable training – ideally supplemented by further education in service management
- Experience in project management as well as with methods such as ITIL4 and Hermes
- Analytical thinking and the ability to penetrate complex issues in a structured manner
- Understanding of business processes, corporate governance, and financial interrelationships
- Ability to incorporate various perspectives and develop sustainable, legally compliant solutions
- Familiar with agile working methods and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Clear and convincing in communication, confident in appearance
