Could you be the full-time BID Manager (f/m/d) for the Rolling Stock & Components division in Zurich we’re looking for?
Your Future Role
140 years of Swiss railway history meet modern solutions for green mobility in Zurich. With 300 colleagues, our Zurich site servs as a global competence center for high-performance traction technology and a development hub for locomotives, bogies, mechanical and electrical systems, as well as services for the local and global markets. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to Martin Bohac and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
As Bid Manager, you will lead the preparation and submission of winning proposals that align with Alstom’s strategic goals. You will ensure timely delivery, accurate commitments in terms of Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Performance (QCDP), and full compliance with internal and customer requirements.
We’ll look for you to :
- Ensure adherence to Alstom’s rules, ethics, compliance, EHS, and railway safety standards.
- Lead the tender process and manage the tender budget in line with authorization protocols.
- Coordinate and manage the tender team to deliver high-quality proposals.
- Define and propose system solutions in response to Instructions for Quotation (IFQ).
- Interface with bid-level teams and other stakeholders to optimize global solutions.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements and internal product strategies.
- Drive QCD optimization and secure commitments from contributors.
- Conduct risk and opportunity reviews, and maintain mitigation and savings registers.
- Support documentation preparation for customer submissions.
- Contribute to lessons learned through Win-Loss analysis.
- Assist the Project Manager with financial review and first project gate preparation.
