The Ancillary Services and Analytics group (eight people) is responsible for supplying system services such as regulating power and energy, loss compensation energy, and also manages the qualification procedures for providers and electrical production facilities to participate in Swissgrid's tenders. It also monitors the contractual commitments of selected suppliers, conducts economic and technical analyses of its activities, and reports to its management and supervisory authority (ElCom). Finally, it actively participates in product development projects and even initiates and leads them.

Participate in electricity supply in Switzerland:
As part of this internship, you are responsible for operational processes, ensuring their proper functioning as well as their development on a technical and economic level. In addition, you will be involved in the following tasks:
- You assist the team with routine administrative and/or technical tasks
- You contribute to the qualification process of providers and production facilities
- You develop various technical or economic analyses
- You participate in ongoing project management through technical and/or administrative contributions
- You take responsibility for daily processes, aiming to develop them with a constant focus on technical and financial improvement
- You actively participate in the development of new concepts, either technical or organizational

For this exciting position, we are looking for a person capable of quickly and independently familiarizing themselves with new topics, applying theoretical knowledge, and understanding broader contexts. You are autonomous in your organization and work precisely and analytically. Finally, you possess the following skills or qualities:
- You are a graduate or student at a university or engineering school, at Bachelor or Master level
- You are interested in the world of electrical energy
- You have an affinity for Data (data analysis, Machine learning)
- You master Office tools, ideally you have knowledge of SQL, Python coding and/or experience with R or Matlab
- You speak German or French fluently and are comfortable in English
