The business area Planning and Projects of the Civil Engineering Office includes the specialist areas of Traffic and Roads, Urban Drainage and Water Bodies, Road Inspection as well as Urban Greenery. The employees manage projects, process construction applications, and develop concepts for the development of Thun's infrastructures.
We are looking for a new team member starting November 1, 2025, or by arrangement
Your tasks:
- You take responsibility in the role of construction management and overall construction management for the implementation of infrastructure projects from SIA 103 Phase 3 onwards and ensure their timely, economical, and high-quality realization.
- You plan, organize, and monitor goals regarding resource and time planning up to commissioning and documentation.
- You coordinate construction projects in public spaces, ensure smooth traffic management during construction phases, and closely coordinate with internal and external partners.
- You handle planning and quality control for maintenance projects such as surface renovations, conduct quality checks, and review signage and traffic safety on construction sites.
- You maintain targeted communication: you inform internal and external stakeholders as needed and timely at important milestones.
- You ensure seamless project documentation, identify risks early, manage budgets, and check invoices in your areas of responsibility.
You bring with you:
- Preferably training in civil engineering – e.g., foreman, technician HF, construction manager, or master builder – as well as experience in project management.
- Knowledge of SIA processes and standards and familiarity with the guidelines of VSS, VSA, and other professional associations.
- Professional appearance, you are resilient, reliable, and possess strong communication and organizational skills.
- Independent working style, you think in networks and actively contribute your expertise to cross-departmental projects.
