Do you love construction machines, the smell of diesel, hydraulic oil, and direct contact with customers – maybe with sunglasses and a view of Lake Maggiore? Then you are in the right place! As a service technician in Ticino, you will be our hero (or heroine) in the field: you will travel where others go on vacation – ensuring our customers always have full power, everywhere.
What you will do with us:
- You will be our on-site expert: you will take care of maintenance and repairs directly at the customer’s site, on construction sites or in the workshop.
- You will diagnose faults and technical problems, analyze them, and immediately propose the right solution – fast, clear, and efficient.
- You will prepare oral cost estimates and discuss the scope of work with our AVOR team.
- You will handle engines, axles, transmissions, hydraulic pumps – and make sure everything runs as it should.
- You will be an active part of a close-knit team, even if you work independently in your well-equipped van.
What you bring with you:
- A completed apprenticeship as a mechanic for construction machinery, agricultural machinery, or heavy vehicles (AFC) – or similar training.
- Field experience – or the desire to do dynamic outdoor work, away from the workshop.
- Technical knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, and diesel engines – and the courage to face even the toughest challenges.
- Autonomy, reliability, and a clear mental structure – you manage your day, but you are part of a team.
- Category B driving license and the desire to live Ticino as your personal workshop.
