The Vocational School for Fashion and Design is located in the heart of Zurich within walking distance of the main train station. We are the competence center for the basic and continuing education of hairdressers. In addition, we train florists and beauticians in basic education. Around 50 teachers instruct over 800 learners in these professions, in pre- and integration courses as well as in continuing education courses.
We are looking for a Supporter Education Technology to start immediately or by arrangement.

Tasks
- You ensure the smooth operation of the technical and pedagogical digital services at our school.
- You actively participate in the ICT basic supply migration project for secondary level II.
- You support our pedagogical ICT supporters (PICTS).
- You independently and efficiently solve problems in the area of 1st level support.
- You provide basic support for the BYOD devices of teachers and learners, competently advise stakeholders, especially in the use of Microsoft 365 and the associated applications in the pedagogical context (Teams, Forms, OneNote, OneDrive, SharePoint).
- You support and advise the school management on ICT issues related to Education Technology (EdTech).
- You identify and formulate needs for the further development of the school regarding its digital services.
- You support the technical support of the website, are responsible for managing the IT inventory as well as the procurement and maintenance of IT devices.
Profile
- You have completed an apprenticeship as an IT specialist EFZ or an equivalent qualification.
- Ideally, you have experience in ICT service management.
- You are familiar with the maintenance of distributed client systems as well as the operation and configuration of telephony and printer solutions.
- You demonstrate a strong service orientation and confident appearance.
- You enjoy working in a lively environment and like contact with young people in training and with teachers. Experience in a school environment is an advantage.
- You are approachable, flexible, reliable, a team player, accustomed to taking responsibility, and work independently, structured, precisely, and effectively.
