Make a difference for patients
We are looking for a motivated Laboratory Operator to join our Quality Operations team, based at our manufacturing site in Bulle, Switzerland.
About the role
As a Laboratory Operator, you ensure the execution of essential operations for the proper functioning of the laboratory, including the daily management of samples, equipment, and logistics flows. You rigorously apply procedures, regulations, and current good practices (cGMP), while ensuring a work environment compliant with hygiene, safety, and environmental requirements.
You play an active role in deploying the site's HSE policy by supporting prevention actions, respecting existing instructions, and contributing to the laboratory's safety culture.
Your activities
- Manage laboratory glassware (washing, distribution, training analysts).
- Receive goods, analysis samples, and legal samples, perform stock placement and verify compliance.
- Archive legal samples, analytical files, and documents in the archiving system.
- Destroy routine and legal samples that have expired.
- Prepare samples required for authorities, stability studies, or subcontracting.
- Carry out shipments of subcontracted analyses.
- Participate in the general smooth running of the laboratory and propose improvements.
- Manage and place department orders; contribute to stock management.
- Print controlled copies of working documents.
- Properly maintain and care for equipment and premises.
- Participate in internal projects and propose change requests in GLIMS.
- Work in compliance with cGMP requirements, use authorized documents/software, record training, participate in internal and external audits.
- Respect and promote HSE instructions; report any incident or dangerous situation.
