The zmk bern is an internationally recognized center for teaching, research, and service at the University of Bern. The hallmark and primary goal of zmk bern are competence and quality in patient treatment, student training, and continuing education.
The Clinic for Dental Preservation, Preventive and Pediatric Dentistry, one of the five clinics of zmk bern, is looking to complement the team as soon as possible with a Dental Hygienist or Prophylaxis Assistant (40% - 50%)
Your main tasks
- Performing professional teeth cleanings and prophylaxis treatments for recall and new patients of all ages and difficulty levels
- Advising and instructing patients in dental care
- Managing a long-standing patient base in close collaboration with the treating dentists
- Supervising DH interns (only DHs)
Your profile
- Completed training in dental hygiene HF or as a federally certified prophylaxis assistant or an equivalent diploma recognized in Switzerland, preferably with work experience
- Independent and empathetic work
- Sense of responsibility, reliability
- Flexibility and teamwork skills
- Very good knowledge of the German language. Additional language skills are an advantage, especially E, F, I
