In this valuable role as a cook, you passionately create delicious meals for our residents, employees, and guests. You work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, and independently organize your tasks in the hot and cold kitchen. You conscientiously adhere to hygiene guidelines and happily support the training of our apprentices.
- Responsible for preparing tasty meals for our residents, employees, and guests
- Independent work organization in the hot and cold kitchen
- Compliance with hygiene guidelines

- Plating menus for our residents on the wards
- Completed training as a cook EFZ
- Several years of professional experience, preferably in nursing home or hospital catering
- Experience in diet kitchen and with the cook-and-chill process is an advantage

The KZU, with its two in-house daycares, operates two nursing centers in Bassersdorf and Embrach as well as three nursing apartments in Nürensdorf and Winkel. It primarily offers a home to elderly, care-dependent people and, in addition to various specialized services, a wide range of outpatient services. The KZU employs around 600 staff, including 75 apprentices and students in 17 different professional groups.
