Job description

Title: Lider técnico | Ratail DataEngineer

Location: Hybrid Mode (CDMX, GDL and MTY)

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and integration solutions using Azure technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Data Hub Azure, Azure Data Factory, SQL, Databricks, and Python, and will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Mandatory:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

6+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.

Hands-on experience with Azure Data Hub, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks for centralized data management.

Strong proficiency in SQL.

Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and cloud-native architecture.

Familiarity with Azure cloud data platforms and services.

Understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and integration patterns.

Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in Azure.

Knowledge of Python to build reusable components, data manipulation and automation scripts

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git).

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Delta Lake, Spark, or other big data technologies.

Experience with REST APIs and enterprise data migration tools.

Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate).

Domain knowledge of North America Retail Power & Gas Market

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.

Integrate diverse data sources into Azure Data Hub , manage data flows, Ensure data governance, lineage, and metadata management within Azure Data Hub along with consistency, quality, security, high availability and performance.

Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).

Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and formulate data strategies

Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across all data assets.

Monitor and optimize data workflows for performance and reliability.

Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines for performance and reliability.

Document data architecture, processes, and best practices.
